No juicer needed to make this gorgeous orange juice! All you need is a blender, a nut milk bag (cheesecloth or kitchen towel), and fresh produce! This Orange Sunrise Blender Juice is made with carrots, oranges, pineapple, turmeric, ginger, and mint for a healthy homemade juice the whole family will enjoy with no added sugar!
I can’t promise you that this will be the last juice in my ‘blender juice series’, because I am just loving these recipes! If you haven’t seen, I’ve already done a Blender Green Juice and Blender Beet Juice that I adore! It has been so fun making these fresh, vibrant juices at home. I know exactly what is going in them, they only take about 15 minutes to make max, and I’m keeping them low maintenance with easy clean up by using my blender and not a juicer because I hate feeding a juicer each piece of fruit/veggie and then cleaning that thing afterward is just… uuggghhhh. Who’s with me?!
It’s also perfect right now during quarantine for those of you who don’t have a juicer or if you’re not really into having a bajillion different kitchen appliances. I feel ya there. So here we are. Orange Sunrise Blender Juice.
Mother’s Day also happens to be coming up, and I’ll bet if you made mom this gorgeous juice and served it to her fresh, she would think you spent a lot longer in the kitchen than you really did. And I’ll bet it would instantly make her smile because I know I would. It’s like sunshine in a bottle.
This Orange Sunrise Blender Juice is perfectly sweet but sneaks in some savory, because it’s all about that balance, right?! I’ve upped my orange juice game and combined it with pineapple, carrots, ginger, turmeric, and mint- aka heaven. It tastes as magical as a sunrise looks, and I’m proud to say that it will nourish your body, mind, and soul. At least- that’s what fresh, homemade juice does for me…
Now unless you’re a genie, you do need a blender for this juice recipe, and the other thing you’ll need is a nut milk bag, cheesecloth, or even a thin kitchen towel- less preferred but you can make it work. (If you do decide to order a nut milk bag, be sure to use code ‘littlevittles’ for 10% off!). You simply chop your produce, throw it in your blender, add water and blend until smooth. Then, using your nut milk bag you’ll strain your juice to get all of the pulp out. Squeeze all the liquid and be sure to get every last drop. Ain’t nobody wants to waste a drop of juice yo… and that’s it!
If you’re a mint fan, this juice is definitely going to be your new go-to. If you’re not a mint fan, just don’t add as many mint leaves, but I promise you, you’ll want to keep the mint included in this recipe. It just adds the perfect touch in combination with the oranges.
The recipe will make about 4 cups of juice and you can store it in your fridge for a few days. It’s a perfect grab-n-go… err stay (haha) breakfast. Or if you’re a busy mom like me, trying to get everyone else changed, fed, and taken care of before you get a chance to eat breakfast, this juice is perfect to sip on while you get everyone in their happy place. Haha.
