Very Berry Protein Donuts

I think we all have a love-hate relationship with donuts… am I right?! But these donuts are healthy… yes, I said it, and then I probably lost ya, haha. But keep reading… I was going to use this recipe to make protein pancakes (which would have been just as fabulous, btw) and I might very well be doing that at some point in the near future, but then I thought, what if I try making protein donuts?! W.I.N.N.E.R. You can enjoy these on their own, or get creative with your toppings. And if you don’t have a donut pan, you can certainly make these into pancakes (but I would bake them as they might not flip all that easily). The other amazing thing about this recipe is that there are only 5 ingredients! F.I.V.E.  (Are you sick of me spelling out words in this post yet? haha I think I’m stuck in educational baby mode, sorry y’all). Anyway, go make these…

p.s. does anyone else fall for the hurts donut joke? My husband says to me, “do you want a hurts donut?” and then I say (not since I’ve wised up haha) “what’s a hurts donut?” and then he pinches me and says, “hurts… don’t ut?”
