Honey Mango Cardamom Smoothie

Since today is National Smoothie Day (and the longest day of the year… Happy Summer everyone!) I thought I would try a new smoothie recipe to celebrate… and let me tell you, this one is worth celebrating! It’s amazing how much I love cardamom, and until this year I really haven’t ever used it. It’s really tasty paired with mango! With only 7 ingredients, you’ll have this ready in no time, and suck it down even faster.  I also added 1 teaspoon of camu camu powder to this, which is optional, but read below for the benefits of camu powder (available for purchase in my vittle shop). This smoothie will definitely be on repeat at my house this summer.

What is Camu Camu Powder?

It’s derived from a low-growing shrub found throughout the Amazon rainforest of Peru and Brazil. It’s known for its mega vitamin C content, containing 30-60 times more than an orange. It also contains beta-carotene, potassium and many amino acids. Camu is a superfood that works great added to smoothies, yogurt and granola, water, and juices. READ MORE HERE
