Honey Mango Cardamom Smoothie

Since today is National Smoothie Day (and the longest day of the year… Happy Summer everyone!) I thought I would try a new smoothie recipe to celebrate… and let me tell you, this one is worth celebrating! It’s amazing how much I love cardamom, and until this year I really haven’t ever used it. It’s really tasty paired with mango! With only 7 ingredients, you’ll have this ready in no time, and suck it down even faster.  I also added 1 teaspoon of camu camu powder to this, which is optional, but read below for the benefits of camu powder (available for purchase in my vittle shop). This smoothie will definitely be on repeat at my house this summer.

 


Honey Mango Cardamom Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 cup plain unsweetened yogurt **NOTE: I use Kite Hill Almond Milk Yogurt
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom
  • 2 tbsp honey

Optional

  • 1 tsp camu camu powder

Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients together and enjoy!

Notes

** If you don't have any already frozen bananas, do so for the summer! But you can also substitute with ice
